They raised the price to over double with 4 increases in 2 years. I discovered other units twice my size IN THE SAME FACILITY are less! They said "sorry but that is the business model". Penalizing loyalty?! Having high turnover with bait and switch prices that force customers to move their stuff to a new facility with a move-in bonus constantly, to make it affordable... Jokes on them bc that forces customers to finally go thru their stuff and eliminate it to downsize. Until this, I would have just paid for it longterm, out of sight, out of mind. So, I guess "thank you" for the nudge, lol. And you have one less customer. So, to you reading: they've been turned in to the BBB as the worst prices once your move in bonus passes, be WARNED. CA passed a law that storage facilities have a cap to how much they can raise $, West Coast Storage came from CA to NV...hmm, clearly explains things.

Do yourself a favor and rent from somewhere else. These people pretend to be nice and their "advertised" rates are not bad. My wife and I have a 10'x20' that was $189 per month when we first started renting on December 27, 2024. We received half off the first two months to move in. Starting June 1, 2025 they increased our rent to $244 per month. Then starting March 1, 2026 this same unit will be $314 per month. Over 66% increase in less than a year? Give me a break! Nobody will believe your "costs" have gone up that much but I'm sure your bank account has. The problem here is their advertised website prices are still what we paid a year ago. We have rented units from other places and never had rent increased like this. West Coast Self-Storage gets you in with "low rates" then bend you over once all of your stuff is moved. They are hoping it is not worth your time and effort to move everything again. On March 1st this 10'x20' unit will be more than our covered 45' 5th wheel space (with electricity, sewer dump, water station, wash rack, etc...) at a different facility. Other issues, the gates often do not work and remain open all day. They also started charging a credit card fee which is not a big deal. However, normally when changing over to a debit card directly from a checking account those fees go away. Not here! They want direct access to your bank account (account & routing number). You might as well write them a blank check while you are at it because if they mess up, overcharge, data breach, etc... you probably won't be getting that money back. We gave our notice and will be out February 28th along with filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I have included a snapshot of the recent emailed rate increase we received. Money doesn't grow on trees unless you are the owner of this storage facility. Good luck, you have been warned!

Used to be great until new owner a year and a half ago took over. I got a large unit for a good price, a month later $50 increase. Their security gate has been broken the entire time so over a year straight without being fixed it’s wide open 24/7 which is a security measure. This location is on 4th street so to not have a gate is pretty ridiculous so if someone forgets to shut one of the coded doors someone could potentially get into a unit if the really tried.. They’ve increased my rent various times and today is the final straw, when I checked another $40. I have a hard time understanding why the owner is overcharging everyone and nothing is being fixed. Stay away give your business to another company, greedy owner.
