Cardinal Self Storage - North Durham

I have rented from this facility for I think 2 or 3 years, and have never had a bad experience in my entire time there. The only reason I removed my things from storage was because we are trying to downsize and cut costs. The price is better than other services in the area! When I fell on hard times, Maureen worked with me and understood. I cannot recommend her wonderful customer service enough, and she was always happy to answer all my various questions. The facilities have been kept in good repair and stay exceptionally clean. I rented 2 10'x10' climate controlled units from her and never had any issues with moisture damage, temperature damage, or pest issues/damage. I would recommend this business to everyone I know. This was a great facility for my needs. I rented a 10x10 while moving and had a positive experience. No hidden fees, actual human contact, clean unit and the process was smooth. Maureen was wonderful and always pleasant!

Update/back again to give a max star review to this company and location - still here long term extremely satisfied customer. Premises are clean and functional, onsite 24 hour supervision and easy extended access hours, but in addition things have been really busy for me these last couple years since my prior review...I've had to have a much more frequent activity level in/out of my storage space and local staffer Maureen has gone above and beyond whenever I've needed anything to make every visit a peak experience and a true pleasure. Cardinal and Maureen are the GOAT of all storage facilities/companies and I'd never use anyplace else! Highly recommend!

Maureen Brakefield, manager of Cardinal Self Storage in Durham, goes above and beyond for her customers. My housemate has a storage unit, and when an emergency occurred at our apartment, Ms. Brakefield had me store many of my possessions while my apartment was being repaired. The unit is well protected, and Ms. Brakefield watches over everything. She is also a good manager and will not only respect each customer, but also make friends. I highly, strongly recommend Cardinal Self Storage for your needs for storing you possessions, and no other.
