I will never rent from this location again. The cost for the little closet I rented is outrageous. Yesterday I made a call to the office letting them know my last day would be the 31st and everything in the unit was wet. In addition to my items being wet, when they resurfaced their roads a few months ago; whatever substance they used covered my belongings. When I told them I needed to do an insurance claim for the wet items they said I would have to find receipts. Who in the world keeps a receipts for clothing and items they purchased years ago? That’s crazy. But today I got an invoice for April 1st and luckily I found out that nothing was entered in the system for my move out date. If I hadn’t seen the invoice I would be battling them for the cost of another month. It’s sad when people make mistakes that affect your finances. The guy I spoke with should have made it a priority to have my unit canceled so I wouldn’t be charged anything else. Gas and groceries are already too damn high to be playing with peoples money.
