quoted me what I thought was a high price. $135 a month for basic 5 x 10 space. highest I'd heard prior to this was $50 and I constantly see ads on the Internet for mush less. said his security was good. they all have good security anymore

New Management Not helpful and combative on the phone, Therese would not listen to what I was saying, only denied her involvement when she's the manager of the facility. Sean the previous manager, was great always helpful and kind, sadly gone. I dealt with numerous mice and bugs in my unit during the construction!! I had paid for my unit for one year in advance and called on 2/26/26 to make March payment a few days in advanced speaking to Nathan, whom told me that my balance was only $11.14, at which I assumed management gave me a special for all the mice problems I had. On 3/2/26, I received an email with my account past due, along with the roughly 40% increase plus insurance charge, even though I have rental insurance through my homeowners that they have on file. I called on 3/3/26 and spoke with Nathan once again explaining his error in charging me, at which Nathan told me he needed to speak to the manager and would get back to me, so I waited and received no call back, and sent an email 3/4/26 to follow up explaining the error that was made. After sending the email 3/4/26 I had received another email from Cardinal saying they were trying to reach me over my past due account, I did not receive any calls. I then proceeded to call Cardinal again, this time Therese answered, and I began to explain my situation. I wanted to make my payment and clear up the insurance payments and late payment that wasn't my fault. She had no clue who Nathan was, said he wasn't an employee and she had no idea about anything as she's only been there six months. Turns out Nathan is customer service that picks up calls and not on the premises. Still a representative of Cardinal storage, and Therese should Not have been denying his involvement led to the error on my account that should never have been. I also should have been informed they needed an update on my rental insurance instead of automatically charged. I tolerated the mice and bugs because Sean was so nice and helpful to me. New Management Therese should have been helpful with my situation instead of saying the same thing over and over to me. I called to make my payment and clear my account that should not have been in default because I spoke Nathan, and she kept telling me I needed to make my payment. Very frustrating to not be heard and for Management to be rude and in denial. I would NOT recommend this storage facility on Riggins Road in Dublin.

Update: After 2 years I've come to the conclusion Cardinal is not customer friendly. I changed my review accordingly. Cardinal does NOT provide notice via SMS oor email when "Proof of Insurance" is due. Instead Cardinal automatically asseses you. It must think it's good business practice to not remind customers who live busy lives to try and save them some money, rather than pocketing it. Cardinal also did not notify me this month that rates had been raised. If I had paid early, as I most often do, I would not have paid the difference and I suppose Cardinal would have charged a late fee. Shabby treatment for a long term customer, especially given the inconvenience of having to deal with temporary closures etc due to on-site construction. They can do better.

I could not speak more highly of my experience with Leonard! From our brief conversation over the phone, to meeting him in person, he welcomed my husband and I with professionalism and kindness. He answered all of our questions in depth, showed us how to access the gate, gave us a tour of the facility and let us know he’d (or someone from the team) will always be available to help. 5/5 experience!!! Thank you for making our first experience so easy Leonard!
