24 Hour Self Storage - Hopewell

I have been with 24 Self Storage for over a year. The office staff is wonderful. I've been provided with answers and solutions by the office staff/management, as quickly as anything came about. The manager is kind, understanding, thorough, quick to respond to your voice or text message, and will contact whoever to help if she can't resolve a problem or know the answer herself. The units and facility as a whole are clean. You have quite a few choices as to the size of the unit, whether inside the bldg with climate control or a little less expensive standard outside unit. Both are code entries, there are cameras for added security, and they provide a KIOS for convenience. **only thing lacking is a restroom and drink machine**

It’s the kind of place where dust bunnies fear to tread and security is tighter than a duck’s feathers in a downpour. The staff? Jamie was professional and courteous when she helped set up our parking spot. She even helped us on a Saturday and was prompt and answered our questions right away.

This is my 2nd review of the business called 24-hour Self Storage (Hopewell location) and staff since 2021. This review is based on my interactions with the manager there as it was before. First let me say it that the facility is clean, well-lit and the temperature inside is consistent to keep all items from damage due to weather or temperature. Having stated that let me inform why I give it a one-star and would give it negative star if I could. All of us know that moving into storage place as difficult as well as moving. Even more so when finances because I'm stretched or strained. Having kept in contact with the main office there so they were aware of what my intentions were, I was blessed with the resources and help needed to once again have peace of mind. After making a large payment at the end of the month I brought my bill which brought balance to zero, I will call into the office: 1. Would I have access to my unit even though today was the first of the new month? (Since I had made full payment.) 2. What is the process to access the unit when balance is fully paid? The manager informed me over and over again that the, and since it was another month a new. I am formed the manager I understood and will make the payment but I needed to know what the process was to get in once the balance was zeroed out again. Instead of answering that question the manager would treat me like I was stupid and didn't understand. I didn't raise my voice, I didn't use profanity, I repeated my second question because I understood the first. However, the manager would tell me to shut up and listen to her. She would not answer the 2nd question I needed to know so that I can manage the time frame of the people who are helping me move and riding out to the storage. They would delay and have us wait 30 minutes even after I made the payment and was ready to move my stuff out with help. They made us wait to prove a point. Before this conversation my intent was to be there another 3 to 6 months and pay that in full. However, after that conversation and experience I decided I have no intention of ever recommending their business to any of the people that I know nor will I go back.
