Cover It RV and Boat Storage

Based on my personal experience I have to say this business is poorly managed and I can not recommend dealing with them. I'll detail the reason I say this. I was planning to store my RV for 3 months while we returned home so I had a specific drop off date that I needed. I phoned them at beginning of the month and asked if they had a spot available on the 20th. They said they did and I tried to reserve the spot during the phone call but was told I needed to fill out a application through their website. I did this and waited a few days but never received a confirmation of them accepting my application nor a request for payment. I phoned them back and asked what the status of the application was and if I was guaranteed the spot. They said they had a spot for all the online requests and that they would get a hold of me a couple of days before the move in date with details. I asked them to give me more time than a "couple of days" notice so I could check it out and see if the spot would work and if not I still had some time to make alternate arrangements. They agreed to this request and I waited to hear back. About 3 days before the requested move in date I still had not heard from them. I tried to phone numerous times during the day and never got through to a person, their mailbox was also full so I could not leave a message either. I gave up and found another storage option at another business. My experience with Cover It started out very positive but turned sour soon after. It is now 2 days after my requested reservation date and I have not heard from them since my last conversation about two weeks ago.

This has to be one of the most poorly managed storage facilities ever. Family boat was stored there for a couple years, then we go to get it to have maintenance done, only to find that it’s gone. After struggling to get in contact with anybody, they informed us that because we “hadn’t paid” they decided to move it somewhere else. They wouldn’t tell us where and basically held our boat hostage until we agreed to pay them (extremely illegal). Apparently new management didn’t know who we were and decided to raise the price without informing us, no emails nothing. We ended up paying them but they refused to talk. They constantly dodged our calls and ignored us. They even tried setting up a new contract after we paid them…lol

Very disappointed in Cover it storage. The spots are very tight and did not work for our 5th wheel. We signed a contract and tried to communicate w them. They ignored all our emails and phone calls. They seem happy to collect our money but ghost our communication efforts. Renters beware!!!!!

They were very friendly and kind. Their service was great and fair. I will definitely be using them again
